ABOUT TRUTH AND FACTS

As a group work we discussed the below questions and shared each persons thoughts. After acquiring the data inside group Lars discussed each question in the class and let us to share our opinions. It was a nice discussion, it helps a lot to get idea regarding the truth, facts etc.

1. Is there any difference between ‘knowing’ something and ‘having knowledge’ of something?

A)In my point of view there is no much difference between ”knowing something and ‘having something but the way we approach these are different. For example if i researching on a particular topic. At the and of the research surely i will learn or gain knowledge this is called ” knowing something. And ” having something means i have to refer some information which already did by some other person and from this reference definitely i will learn something and it is useful to my research.so, at the conclusion there is no difference between “knowing something and ” having something but the way we approaching towards particular topic is different.

2. What is ‘truth’?

Truth can be defined as the facts or beliefs that supports something is true or accepted as true. considering facts, almost for everyone the truth is same but that is depends on their individual belief.

3.What do we really mean when we say something is ‘true’?

In my opinion ” when i say something is TRUE means may be i already know that is true and that knowledge came from reading or learning. And another way is may be came through my personal experience. And some times those things depends on religious or cultural facts also.

4.Is there a difference between knowing something is ‘true’ and believing that something is ‘true’?

As i already discussed above ”knowing something” means learning or gaining knowledge through individual experience.so, by experience we will know that particular topic is true this is called “knowing something true”. Believing something true” means it depends on our confidence and how much we trust that topic and also sometimes we trust the conclusion which did by some other person because they are succeed in their conclusion.

5. What is the difference between subjective and objective ‘truth’?

subjective truth can be defined as ‘ which is depends on ones opinion or belief so there is no scientific proof or something to prove that .so, the subjective truth may be true or false and here feelings ,beliefs and decision making is the main sources in this subjective truth. Objective truth means which is scientifically proved by science and universally accepted and here measure, quantity, and quality like this various parameters are the main sources in this objective truth.

6.What is a ‘fact’ and can ‘facts’ change ?

A fact is something that has been proven to be true. and yes facts can change based on better research methods into the issue. For example we’ve likely heard since you were young that chameleons change their color to match their environment and we all are believed that is fact. but, some recent researches said these color-based changed are related to their mood, and temperature.

7.How do we discover if something is ‘true’ or not?

They are two ways are there, first one is by doing own research on that and second one is simply by reading other people results and taking as a reference

8.“We do not see things as they are but as we are” Anais Nin. What does this mean?

Means every human being have their own thinking, researching and decision making towards truth. also most of the truth in this world exists by humans only but if i believe one thing as a truth but that truth may be not a truth in your point of view.

9. Reality is an illusion, albeit a very persistent one” Einstein. What does this mean?

Means there are boundaries for human thinking and these boundaries are changed to person to person. Simply, it is impossible to prove one thing anything exists other than what is in your mind and that is why reality is an illusion.

10. IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ‘TRUE’ AND ‘VALID’? EXPLAIN!

True matters depends on what all the people believe and what we believe and valid means if we done a experiment on a particular topic that have some validity. How ever, this validity changes by advanced technology.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
